Our Activities

SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES

As a missionary school we effectively observe spiritual activities such as Celebration of the Holy Mass especially at the beginning and ending of every term. Other activities include; daily rosary prayers, catechism classes, retreats, stations of the cross etc.

DAILY ACADEMIC PRESENTATION

This particular activity takes place on the assembly ground whereby students are allowed give talks on any educative researched and prepared topic of their choice. This is usually based on what the students have either been taught or yet to learn in various subjects offered in the classroom.  The daily academic presentations facilitate the production of outspoken students as we harness their frequent appearance on stage to train them on boldness ethics as regards handling talks in public before a crowd.

CAREER DAY

This is a special day usually celebrated once a session to promote various careers in school and also learn more about them. Students are required to dress in various outfits representing the different careers such as doctors, lawyers, engineers etc.

MADONNA CLUBS AND ACTIVIES

We have quite a number of clubs in MCC properly fashioned to educate, stir up creativity and equally inspire students towards discovering, developing their talents as well as making good use of them. This largely avails them the opportunity to build their intellectual interest and discover their passion. We have the following clubs: Busy hands, Jets, drama, Music, Madonna force and Sports club.

It is compulsory for each student to join a club and also participate actively. MCC clubs meet every Friday between the 12pm and 1pm. Also the clubs are required to make presentations from time to time in programs such as club day, cultural day, career day etc.

Busy Hands Club

The activities of Madonna College BUSY-HANDS CLUB involve a lot of practical on craft making every Friday between the hours of 12pm and 1pm.
